Hello!
Welcome to our website! My name is Adedamola Precious Ebietomiye. I am an international student from Nigeria. I am studying Mass Communications (Bachelor of Communications and Digital Journalism). I major in Public Relations. I am currently in my second year. I intend to use my degree to work in the social media setting or the entertainment industry. I am still trying to figure it out though. I intend to use this blog as a medium to channel the voices of the students and challenges they face as students.

Hello, everybody! My name is Carla Zarate, and I am an international student. I am pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Journalism, with a major in Public Relations. I’m from Spain, but I also hold Colombian nationality. During my childhood, I lived in three different countries: Colombia, Argentina, and Spain. Now, in Canada, I’m having one of the best experiences of my life as I get to be more independent. One of my goals is to create a radio program and have my own animal foundation.
I have two favorite dishes: pasta and sushi. I remember being so passionate about learning how to cook my favorite dishes that I even took a few personal classes to learn how to prepare sushi. I love animals. I used to have seven cats, five dogs, two rabbits, and two hamsters. I’m an easy-going person who will always say yes to dessert and shopping!

Israt Jahan
Hi there, I’m Israt Jahan, a Thompson Rivers University student currently studying for a tourism management di ploma. Travelling and discovering the world’s natural beauties are my passions. The beauty of various locations and the distinctive sensations they provide especially motivate me. By combining my passion for exploration with my academic background, I hope to advance eco-friendly travel strategies tha t not only let travellers enjoy the world’s natural beauty but also protect it for coming generations. Through my education, I’ve gained a better grasp of the tourism business and the significance of balancing economic growth and environmental conservation. I feel that tourism has the capacity to develop meaningful connections while also instilling cultural appreciation and care for nature. My goal is to positively impact the industry by pushing for responsible travel practices and inspire others to explore and conserve our world.
